I cannot even begin to describe how happy we are with Off Leash Training. Our trainer Brittany, took our 10 month golden for a 2 week board and train. When we dropped her off we dropped off a dog that took off running whenever possible, walked us instead of us walking her, and would jump at any opportunity to greet people. We now have a dog that comes when she’s called, has learned to ignore distractions, and can actually hold a command longer than 30 seconds. Brittany was great throughout the 2 weeks and we always looked forward to our nightly updates to see her progress. It’s also gives us peace of mind to know that whenever we have questions, we can always contact Brittany, and we now have a place that if needed we can board as well! We love Kerry! My sheepadoodle, Bennett, did his Off Leash K9 training with Kerry in October of 2022. Bennett came home from New Hampshire trained on the e-collar and knowing all of the essential commands (sit, stay, off, come, etc.). Kerry sent us regular updates and photos of Bennett learning and having a blast with the other dogs in training. I have continued to use Kerry for boarding whenever I am out of town and she takes great care of Bennett. Bennett typically has a little bit of separation anxiety, but I can tell that he has gotten to know Kerry’s house and her dogs and that he feels comfortable staying with her. It’s reassuring to know that he is in good hands while I’m away! The regular status updates and funny videos and pictures are an added bonus too.
We highly recommend Owen W of Off Leash who trained our rumbustious, one year old border terrier, Max. We selected the two week Board and Train program and are delighted with the results. At our first meeting, Owen thoroughly explained the training method he would be using and demonstrated how to use the e-collar. Owen has a calm, comforting manner that worked well for us and for Max. Owen was diligent in keeping in touch with us throughout the two weeks through texted reports, photos, videos, and fun stories. In addition, he responded promptly and helpfully to all of our questions. We knew that Max was in good hands with Owen. We have stayed in touch with Owen and Max exuberantly greets him each time we see him. Since his training with Owen, Max is a joy – no more ripping rugs, chewing on baseboards, nipping, or other mischievous behavior. Max responds appropriately when called, heels when walking with us, and is well behaved with guests in our home. We highly recommend Owen W. The results are amazing.
